A gumbo of Americana, desert noir, and garage rock, Chicago-based band The Hitchcock Brunettes, formed in 2022, consist of Gina Frangello (lead vox/percussion), Matt Sherman (guitar/vox) and Jason Schoenbeck (bass/ vox)—also members of The Prettiest Girl—and Rob Roberge (guitar/lead vox), also a member of LA art-punks The Urinals, who’ve been covered by, among others, Yo La Tengo, the Minutemen, and The Gun Club. Their debut record is scheduled for release this year.

 Underneath all the hooks and well crafted melodies lay songs about life on life's terms. Love, hate, all of lifes victories and defeats. The Hurtin Kind play music for grown ups about the world as we see and experience it. It's a joyous noise , so c'mon along for the ride!
